The Kawasaki Gpz305 was a 306 cc (18.7 cu in) twin cylinder air-cooled SOHC four-stroke motorcycle, produced in 1983 and 1994. The model evolved from the earlier ER250 model and used an overbored 61 mm × 52.4 mm (2.40 in × 2.06 in) version of the 249 cc engine first produced in 1979.

So what do Kawasaki do? They tart it up to look like the-then supersports GPz range and call it a GPz305. Swoopy fairing, racing red with silver and blue pin stripes. It looks great on the big GPz750 and 900R, but just makes the tiddler look like a sinking gondola on wheels.

Here is a 1983 GPZ305 with 4400 original miles, this was a bike that was ahead of its time in 1983 with belt drive, cafe styling and mag wheels. I bought this 4 years ago from a lady who won it in a raffle brand new and it had only 863 miles on it then.

#1 · Aug 24, 2020 Hi everybody, I am hoping I can get some timely advice.. My problem is that I just got a 87' gpz 305,and it runs ran fine at first. However shortly after getting it,, it wouldn't turn over easily. 1 in 5 time with some pushing sometimes.
